Julia has a master’s degree in Applied Cognitive and Media Science and recently completed her PhD in Computer Science. During her studies, she was engaged as a student research assistant at the department of Media Informatics and Entertainment Computing, where she contributed to numerous game-related research projects. During this time, she accrued a wealth of experience in game design and development.
Her PhD thesis focused on serious role-playing games for the professional training of social skills featuring intelligent support, proposing a novel conceptual and technical framework for the design and implementation of such games. Julia is part of Native Prime for over a decade now and as an avid gamer, she is still thrilled to work in the field of games localization.
