About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist — junior to mid-level, depending on experience — to join our team in Bologna and contribute to our growth in the gaming industry.

In this role, you will own the full BizDev cycle: identifying new studios and publishers that could benefit from what we do, nurturing the relationships we have built with our clients over the years, and keeping our commercial pipeline active and well-organized. You will work closely with the leadership team, coordinate with our internal production and project management, and take real responsibility for key accounts from day one.

We are looking for someone who is organized, highly proactive, and genuinely passionate about the games industry. Initiative and attention to quality are essential here; this is not a support role.


Main tasks

  • Research and identify studios, publishers, and developers that could be a good fit for what we do

  • Reach out to new contacts via email, LinkedIn, and direct calls. Building real relationships, not filling a funnel
  • Qualify leads and help prioritize the opportunities worth pursuing

  • Keep our CRM accurate and up to date: contacts, deal stages, follow-ups, notes
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and capability presentations

  • Make sure no relationship goes quiet. Proactive follow-ups and genuine check-ins matter here
  • Maintain an organized library of credentials, case studies, and commercial templates

  • Work with our Social Media Manager to keep commercial and marketing messaging aligned

  • Keep our marketing materials (decks, one-pagers, service overviews) current and sharp

  • Help identify relevant industry events and prepare our presence
  • Occasionally attend events or client meetings alongside the senior team

  • Track trends and activity in the games localization space

Your skills

  • 1–4 years of experience in a commercial, business development, sales support, or marketing role (B2B preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organized and thorough, with strong follow-through

  • Genuine interest in the video games industry

  • Comfortable with CRM tools and standard office tools

  • Proactive, autonomous, and able to manage multiple tasks at once

  • Additional European languages (French, German) are a welcome bonus
